This first BTF Brand Palette Collection is styled towards the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. The collection is comprised of four fonts that can be used on their own or combined together to make expressive brand voices for any Consumer Packaged Goods brand—everything from breakfast cereals to sparkling bevvies. The fonts take the tastes and styles of what’s current and working in the world of packaging, branding, and snacks into consideration, offering a playground of possibility for CPG design work.
Grigio Serif → A sprightly and slender display serif bearing Art Nouveau influences and elegant calligraphic notions. Grigio’s narrow, tailored proportions and optimistic voice lend themselves perfectly to regal headlines with a confident air.
Porter Sans → Porter Sans in an ultra-condensed engineered sans with an industrial pedigree. Optimized for deployments at large sizes, Porter packs a punch in a tight spot. All alphabetic characters are uniwidth — from caps to lowercase — so you can maximize your messaging in a controlled space.
Ginny Sans → Ginny, an unassuming power player with a delicate touch, is a thin workhorse sans inspired by the clear and open sans types prevalent in 1970’s food packaging, with a little extra zing thrown in for good measure. Set in sentence case or in all caps, Ginny knows when to take center stage, or hang back as a supporting player.
Armond → Taking reference from old fashioned Italian packaging and sign styles, Armond is an old soul with a few trick up its sleeve. It’s born to show up in a tux (Did someone say they were designing a whiskey label?), but destined to impress in more contemporary ways (we’re thinking citrus flavored summertime alcoholic seltzers.) With an outline style in the caps and a matching solid infill in the lowercase, it’s really two layerable fonts in one.
