Version 1.0

Ermine

Ermine is a typeface inspired by the original Works Progress Administration National Park Service Posters from the early 20th Century, of which there only a handful of designs. The the odd, variable width, hand-painted lettering style on these posters exemplifies a dilligent work ethic, an honesty in its production, a warmth and imperfection of handicraft, and a connection to the land. It was these qualities that compelled us to bring Ermine to life across five widths, all designed to be mixed and matched.
